The Lane Café

Today, I got an oat matcha. In cafes, I’m so use to the subpar matchas that I expected the same but I was blown away by the quality of my matcha at Lane Cafe! Thank you for putting that extra effort in - it makes a difference!!

Absolutely beautiful little cafe, decorated with love and has a very homely vibe. I arrived super early as they were opening and ordered a mocha with vanilla. I was handed the wrong drink (a matcha latte), so I took it back and asked for my correct order again - a vanilla mocha. They remade my drink for me but gave me a plain mocha with no flavour :( Not a huge deal, probably just a case of the early morning sleepies. I totally get it, just a little disappointing not to get the correct order.

One of our favorite local cafes. Quaint and takes you to another place with its mosaic floors, conservatory windows and Parisian chairs. Really nice bookstore in front and tasteful stores in the lane for you to soak up the atmosphere. Staff are lovely and helpful. Coffee is rich, thick and mellow. Order the beef pie with salad and the pear cake to go with your coffee, it will keep you coming back.

They have the best coffee and breakfast! Really love the Brazilian style pancake. Also the staff is really friendly and good service. The Lane Café will be my favorite coffee place in Perth. 100% recommend !!

Absolutely delighted with my experience at the charming cafe in Claremont! From the moment I stepped in, the cozy ambiance embraced me like a warm hug. The rustic decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The baristas were incredibly friendly and skillful, crafting a cup of coffee that felt like a work of art. And the pastries? Divine! Each bite was a delightful journey of flavors. Without a doubt, this cafe is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return for more moments of tranquility and indulgence.

We had the Brazilian pancake which had lovely Bolognese sauce inside and eggs Benedict with an indulgent hollandaise sauce however the eggs were a bit overcooked. My friend's coffee was fine however my matcha was terrible, it tasted like plain milk. Lovely spot though, it was nice and quiet and good for a light catch up.

Love this little tucked away place, feels very homey and the food is just delicious. Check out the crema on my coffee! Smashed avo with feta and poached eggs beautifully balanced. Worth a visit if you like good food and something a little quaint. Excellent bookstore opposite!

I recently visited this delightful Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by the range and quality of delicious food, especially the Brazilian Savoury Pancake prepared by Tiago (the Chef/Owner) and the delicious Coffee and hot drinks prepared by Mary (Barista/Owner) Muito Obrigado Tiago & Kamsahamnida Mary ! I will be sure to visit again soon :) !
